Really 'Mum' Things...

1. Went to watch a show with friends (no kids), heard a siren in the music and immediately thought 'NEE NAW'. I'm so cool.

2. Cleaning pretty much everything with wet wipes.

3. Talking in half sentences so your toddler 'learns' - "when we eat cheerios we must use our...." spoon, the answer is spoon.

4. Finding yourself in aldi wearing a sticker that says 'well done' because you used your spoon and are trying to reinforce the message.

5. Forgetting the amount of formula scoops you've put into the bottle and having to start again, and again.

6. When your non-mum friends mention pretty much anything fun your first thought is 'well you won't be able to do that when you have kids' or 'A hangover with kids is my idea of utter hell'.

7. Feeling like you're on actual holiday when you go to the supermarket alone.

8. Doing the same load of washing two or three times because you keep forgetting to hang it out.

9. If you find yourself in the car alone then you'll point out buses and trucks because it has become second nature.

10. Not being able to watch the news or crimewatch in the same way, it's a bit too real now.

11. You'd prefer to have a good sleep then have sex.

12. You do that thing that your mum did that you swore you'd never do - lick your thumb and wipe their face. Admit it.

13. You share baby milestones and just about any cute picture on facebook because all of your friends are as interested as you are of course!

14. You know all the words to all of the cbeebies and nick jr programmes and will sing them when you're alone or trying to get to sleep or when you're on hold to EDF and they catch the end of Everything's Rosie.

15. Running a Danger Assessment in every new place you go to.

16. Rocking everything even if there is no child i.e trolleys or yourself without realising.

17. Forgetting your social surroundings and so thinking its acceptable to talk about poo just about anywhere.

18. Having a mary poppins style changing bag so you are prepared for every eventuality ever.

19. Saying "take that out of your mouth" 200 times a day.

20. Welling up with tears the first time your baby talks to you. And a few times after that.
